Sony launches WH-1000XM4 “Silent White” headphones because the black space is too strong

Imagine the scene. It’s summer, the blockages are easing and you’re ready to venture back into the world. You feel brave after a year locked inside, brave enough that you chose a completely white outfit. Read how you can make color work the same way Vogue and GQ, but suddenly disaster strikes. You notice something. “The Verge’s top wireless headphones! “Don’t exclaim to anyone in particular,” are they only available in black, blue or in this weird weird beige color ?! “

It’s okay, don’t be upset. Sony launches a limited edition white WH-1000XM4 headphones. Better yet, it’s real white, not that orthopedic brown Sony is trying to leave “silver” all these years. Sony promises that these “Silent White” headphones will be “even more resistant to stains”, which, we hope, will help them keep their appearance clean for at least a while. Unfortunately, these are limited edition and will only be available while stocks last.

Internally, they are the same as the excellent WH-1000XM4 headphones launched by the company last year. This means you get excellent audio quality, noise cancellation and microphone performance, as well as the ability to pair with two devices simultaneously.

The white headphones will be available in Europe starting in May at a price of 430 EUR / 400 GBP, but there are no signs of color on the Sony website in the US as of this writing. I contacted the company to inquire about US availability.
