Snowy Owl spotted in Central Park again, throws itself on its prey

CENTRAL PARK, Manhattan (WABC) – Now the famous Snowy Owl in Manhattan has been spotted again in Central Park.

The rare critter was seen jumping on a mouse under the snow on Saturday night.

Birders were in Central Park on Thursday in search of a rare visitor, a Snow Owl, who had been seen in the park the day before.

He was later seen perched on North Meadow.

The bird quickly became one of the city’s top attractions, attracting large crowds to the park, despite the freezing temperatures.

Eye news captured the rare snow owl in Central Park on the camera a week ago, after it was first seen in over 100 years.
