Snow Delays in Portland Trail Blazers, Oklahoma City Thunder

The Portland Trail Blazers and Oklahoma City Thunder plan to travel later Wednesday afternoon for games that will be played in other cities on Wednesday night.

After meeting in Oklahoma City on Tuesday night, both the Blazers and the Thunder had trouble leaving due to the snow in the area. The Trail Blazers announced they were leaving Oklahoma City later this afternoon after the initial flight on Tuesday night had to be postponed. Now, the Blazers will fly to New Orleans and head straight to the Smoothie King Center for advice from 8pm CT Wednesday night.

Oklahoma City will do the same, ESPN officials said, heading straight to FedExForum to play the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night. This game is also scheduled to have a local tip from 8 p.m.

Earlier Wednesday, Memphis announced that fans would not be allowed to participate due to the winter weather in the area. The Grizzlies had fans in attendance for their game against the Pelicans on Tuesday night.
