The incredibly deep roguelike RPG for building bridges Kill the Tower will receive the board treatment, the board game makers, Contention Games, were recently announced, allowing people to explore together the inventive battles of the cards in real game life.
According to the Contention website, Kill the Tower the board game will allow up to four players, with rounds lasting about 45 minutes each (slightly less than beating an entire race through the existing video game).
There is still a lot of other information about the table version, but based on the description it seems that the basic premise of fighting through a series of dungeons using cards to attack and cast spells will remain intact.
