Sixers can start permission from Wells Fargo Center fans starting March 1st

The Wells Fargo Center had an empty feeling in the 2020-21 season. The Philadelphia 76ers were great, as they are at the top of the Eastern Conference standings and there were no fans to witness due to COVID restrictions, and Joel Embiid had to go empty-handed after big games.

All of that may change as of Monday, March 1, as the state of Pennsylvania now allows 500 fans for indoor events. It won’t be anywhere near the more than 20,000 players that the Sixers normally attract, but it will feel good to have a number of fans in the building for what has been a fun season.

Philadelphia is 14-2 at the Wells Fargo Center so far this season and there is no doubt that fans would go crazy whenever Embiid has a big night or Ben Simmons throws a big slam. It will be nice to have passionate Philadelphia fans back in the arena.
