Spanish singer Natalia Jiménez has confirmed that she is divorcing her partner, Daniel Trueba, with whom she has been married for five years.
“In order to avoid and reduce any type of speculation, I decided to confront rumors and confirm my marital separation process from Mr. Daniel Trueba,” the artist announced in a text through her social networks.
The former member of La Quinta Estación indicated that for several months she made the difficult decision to separate from her daughter’s father.
He said he would have preferred to take his divorce process privately, but because he is a public figure, he chose to address the situation to avoid further controversy.
“Normally, we will conduct this process in private, but since I am a public figure, it is better to expose this issue to you directly, as a public,” he said.
The singer “Por ser tu mujer” confirmed that the rumors that had sounded a long time ago were true, but that he decided to announce it when things were calmer and always thinking about the good of his daughter in common. “Indeed, I had made this decision a few months ago, but I thought it appropriate to announce it when everything was optimally adapted for our daughter Alessandra,” he wrote.
Natalia and her manager, Daniel, got married unexpectedly on December 29, 2015, just after the singer’s 34th birthday. “What an anniversary !!! I just had a wedding gift !!! He wrote then. Four months later, she happily announced her pregnancy and in October 2016, her daughter Alessandra was born.
