The latest OnePlus phones are pretty good, but their ever-increasing prices have a lot of brand followers looking for alternatives. Amazon’s closing site, Woot, offers one today and only today: the OnePlus 8 model. It’s not important enough last year. This new unlocked version of the phone comes in taking over Glacial Green and only in the 8 GB RAM model, the 128 GB model, but it is only 419.99 USD. This is a theft for a well-made 5G phone, based on the Snapdragon 865 platform.
This is not the absolute cheapest I’ve seen with OnePlus 8: last week B&H offered it for $ 400. So, the price for the new units of the OP8 model seems to drop quite quickly, now that it’s a complete refresh (two, if you count the 8T model in the middle of the year). That being said, the OnePlus 8 is still a lot of phones for just over four Benjamins. Its triple rear camera system does not meet Google or Samsung standards and it lacks the wireless charging of its older brother, 8 Pro. But its 90Hz curved screen with a hidden fingerprint sensor is fantastic, and the Oxygen operating system (recently updated to Android 11!) Is among the best customizations of Android manufacturers on the market.
