Since the vaccines began to run, thousands of viewers have sent questions about the photos.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has recently updated its guidelines as it learns more about new vaccines and new strains. CDC recommendations can evolve as soon as new information becomes available.
According to the latest CDC guidelines, fully vaccinated individuals are not required to quarantine after exposure if they encounter all of the following criteriaL

They are completely vaccinated

Within 3 months of receiving the last dose

He remained asymptomatic from COVID exposure
On the surface, the three-month limit may seem bizarre, but the goal is to protect as many people as possible based on the imperfect information we have now. As we learn more, the guidelines will be revised.

The three-month period comes from estimates of the duration of protection after a natural infection.

We don’t know exactly how long the vaccines will protect people – it can take much more than three months – but only time will tell. For now, the guidance is three months.
Participants in the initial studies that were used to obtain the emergency use authorization are more than three months away from their vaccination, so follow-up data are expected to become available soon regarding the duration of immunity.
One thing we know is that vaccines prevent people from dying or getting seriously ill with COVID-19, and that certainly makes it useful.
