Should “Big Six” players face the international ban? Should clubs be exiled from CL? – Athletic

European Super League: Should players in the “big six” face international bans? Should clubs be exiled from CL?

According to UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin, the proposed European Super League is a “shameful, self-defeating” and “spitting in front of football fans” plan.

The 53-year-old man also said that the players representing the teams involved will be “banned at the World Cup and the Euro”. The governing body also indicated on Sunday that players will be excluded from all other competitions at national, European or global level.

The impact on the England team for this summer’s tournament would, of course, be huge without players from Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool and Chelsea. And the implications of the Champions League would also be huge.

But what do you think? If this happens, is it right for them to suffer for a general club decision? Or do dramatic circumstances require dramatic action? And what about clubs? Should the Champions League and Europa League clubs be expelled?
