Shia LaBeouf and Margaret Qualley broke up amid allegations of abuse

Shia LaBeouf and Margaret Qualley broke up over allegations that they abused their ex-girlfriend FKA Twigs.

“They broke up on Saturday. They are only in different places in their lives, “a source told People. The source added that Qualley’s main focus is her acting career.

Another source told the site that she was aware of the “reaction” she would receive to the meeting with LaBeouf amid his legal battle against Twigs, who accused him of sexual battery, aggression and provocation of emotional suffering.

As previously reported on page Six, LaBeouf, 34, and Qualley, 26, were spotted at LAX Airport in December 2020.

And in the same week they were photographed running together in LA.

The couple was last photographed together Monday in Studio City, California, as well as on a trip to LA the day after Christmas, People reported.

LaBeouf appeared in early December after Twigs sued the actor for their allegedly abusive relationship.

In an email to the New York Times – who broke the story – LaBeouf wrote: “I am not in a position to tell anyone how he made my behavior feel. I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalizations. I have been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years. I have a history of hurting those closest to me. I’m ashamed of that story and I’m sorry for those I hurt. I can’t say anything else. ”

Days later, Sia claimed she was “linked” to an affair with the “pathological liar” LaBeouf – and warned women to “stay away” from the “very sick” Hollywood star.

LaBeouf’s lawyer told Variety on December 24 that he was seeking “long-term inpatient treatment.”

Netflix then removed the actor from the “For Your Awards” page.

Representatives for LaBeouf and Qualley did not immediately respond to our request for comment.
