According to her autobiography, Sharon Stone had a near-death experience in which three deceased actors who met her while she was living told her not to be afraid. Returning from that important experience, Stone decided to say it all.
The difficulties she faced and the courage she had to return to an industry that does not accept the health problems of its protagonists are highlighted in this book along with anecdotes from the career of the actress born in Meadville (Pennsylvania ) in 1958.
Sharon Stone reveals that she was abused as a child with her sister, Kelly, by her maternal grandfather and tells how at her funeral, when she was 14, she was able to breathe easily when she was sure she could no longer abuse them.
The actress denounces that a producer who does not name him pressured her to have real sex with an actor in order to get more chemistry in front of the cameras.
Stone looks back on his 40-year career in Hollywood, including the famous provocative scene from “Basic Instinct,” which he claims has always been told would not be as revealing as it finally was.
The director, Paul Verhoeven, accused Stone of lying, while the actress states in her memoirs that she was ordered to take off her underwear for alleged photography reasons.
