@piersmorgan I’m with you. Support you. People forget that you are paid for your opinion and that you are only telling the truth “, Osbourne, 68 years old, posted on Twitter on Tuesday.

She and her husband Ozzy Osbourne have been friends with Morgan for years and even opened up to the television host in an exclusive interview about the rocker’s diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease.

ITV announced on Tuesday that Morgan has resigned from his position on the talk show.

“After talks with ITV, Piers Morgan decided it was time to leave Good Morning Britain,” the network said in a statement. “ITV has accepted this decision and has nothing to add.”

Morgan gave up shortly after leaving during a heated discussion about Meghan and Prince Harry’s Oprah interview, where his co-star Alex Beresford criticized him for his harsh views on the royal couple.

“I understand you don’t like Meghan Markle. You have said this program so clearly several times and I understand that you had a personal relationship with Meghan Markle and she interrupted you “, said Beresford. “Did he say anything about you after he interrupted you?” He has the right to interrupt you if he wants. And yet keep throwing it in the trash. ”

Morgan then went off-set, calling his co-star’s words “evil.” He later posted on Twitter that he was just “annoyed”, so “he went to relax a bit and came back to finish the discussion”.

But a few hours later, Morgan gave up his position in the show.

Morgan openly criticized Meghan and Harry’s decision to interview CBS about their experience with the royal family, calling the ordeal a “two-hour garbage” of royalty and “an absolutely disgraceful betrayal of the queen and the royal family.”

The actress opened up about suicidal thoughts, as well as why she and Harry decided to give up the royal role during the CBS interview with Oprah on Sunday. They also revealed that someone in the royal family had “concerns” about the color of their son Archie’s skin.

Since then, Regina has issued a statement on the matter, saying: “The issues raised, especially the race, are worrying. Although some memories may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be approached by the family privately. Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be beloved family members. ”
