WayForward revealed the original Shantae for Game Boy Color will be released on Switch eShop on April 22nd.
Along with an announcement on social networks, a trailer has been released that presents the original game in action on Nintendo hybrid hardware. In particular, this version of the game will also include the standard GBC mode and the improved Game Boy Advance mode.
“The original Shantae is back (almost)! Experience Shantae’s original GBC adventure in all the beating glory of hair, belly dancing and shape-shifting when she lands in the Nintendo Switch eShop on April 22nd!”
The physical editions for Switch and also Game Boy Color were offered by Limited Run Games last year and are now sold out. According to WayForword, the standard version is close to delivery.
