It’s official!
Shailene Woodley confirmed on Monday that she is engaged to Aaron Rodgers during an appearance on “The Tonight Show”.
“It’s not new news for us, so it’s kind of funny that everyone is scared right now,” said Woodley, 29. “We are like, ‘Yes, we’ve been engaged for a while. ””
The “Little Little Liars” star threw herself at her 37-year-old fiancé, describing him as “a wonderful and incredible human being” and amused her quarterback career for the Green Bay Packers.
“I never thought I would be engaged to someone throwing balls for a living,” she joked. “I never thought like a little girl: ‘Yes, when I grow up, I’ll marry someone who throws balls, yes! ”
“But he’s really good, so he’s doing well,” she added. “I’m very impressed.”
Woodley added that she and Rodgers met during the pandemic and admitted that she had never attended a football game or watched it.
“I don’t know him as the type of football,” she said. “I know him as a nerd who wants to host ‘Jeopardy! “This is the guy I know. ”
Rumors of a love affair between the “Divergent” star and the NFL player did not spread until early February, and then only a few days later, Rodgers revealed that he was engaged.
Rodgers last met Danica Patrick, while Woodley was previously linked to rugby player Ben Volavola.
