Conformable New York Times, a lawyer named Tyrone A. Blackburn is asking California and Georgia authorities to investigate multiple allegations of sexual abuse and assault against rapper TI and his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Harris. Some of the allegations appeared on social media in January (via Complex), including the allegations that they threatened at least one person with a gun, with TI and Harris finally responding with a statement in which they “negatively” denied “the horribly horrific allegations.”
Blackburn has garnered accusations from several unidentified women, inclusive what the Times the report describes that “Two cases of rape”, the lawyer saying that the claims extend over a decade and are “extremely similar”. He says none of the women know each other, though New York Times says they include “a military veteran, a former friend who became an assistant, an exotic dancer and a teenage intern at the TI studio and record label, Grand Hustle.” time spoke with five women involved who said they were “drugged, raped or sexually assaulted” by TI and Harris or “those in their orbit,” and the newspaper also spoke with “several individuals” who say the accusers they told them these events “Soon”, they are supposed to have happened and also “examined the messages or photos that supported their chronology of events”. Meanwhile, a lawyer for TI and Harris reiterates that he denies the allegations, adding that he fully expects that “there will be no charges” if the California or Georgia police decide to launch investigations. The lawyer also says that the accusations are “the continuation of a sordid shakedown campaign” that started on social networks and “now he is trying to manipulate the press and abusively use the justice system”.
