He hasn’t been seen since suffering that triceps rupture in Backlash, but it’s been over seven months. In addition, he still aims to complete that trilogy of matches with Randy Orton, who has already confirmed that he will be in the match.

Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins
We will pair these two because they disappeared for the same reason. Lynch has been out of action since announcing her pregnancy in May, while Rollins was canceled on TV on the Survivor Series so she could be home with Lynch to meet her first child. Their daughter, Roux, was born on December 4th.
Rollins was originally announced for a return to SmackDown a few weeks ago, but those plans were quietly abandoned. Whether or not Lynch is physically ready to return to the ring remains unknown.

The fact that Rousey returned to the ring was one of the worst kept secrets on social networks. Whether or not this means she’ll be in the real Rumble is a whole different conversation, but the odds are pretty good, especially if WWE is finally preparing her and Lynch for an individual match at WrestleMania.

It’s been five years since AJ Styles made his surprise WWE debut during the 2016 Royal Rumble, and since then, fans have lined up every year, expecting a big name from another company to make the leap to WWE during the match of 30 people. This year, speculation is centered around Jay White, who proclaimed after Wrestle Kingdom 15 that he was “giving up” following the New Year’s Dash
Now, is there any evidence that White’s contract with New Japan has ended? Not. But, legitimately, he didn’t fight since New Year’s Dash, and his appearance in Rumble would lead Wrestling Twitter to a frenzy. This is the longest long range shot, but it’s fun to think about.
