Several weeks before the Cruz trip, parents were warned in an email by the school about traveling during the pandemic, Politico noted.
“At the end of the day, he takes this heat to use his kids as an excuse to go on vacation. And that’s a mistake, ”parent Lara Hollingsworth told the website.
“From the parent’s point of view, I’m only asking if the school is following CDC guidelines, and I have to say I have no reason to believe they won’t.”
