Season 2 “Demon Slayer” gets a new trailer and a vague release date

Demon Slayer is now a global phenomenon after its arrival in the West on Netflix, and in Japan the film continues to break box office records left and right.

But now we’ve shown what happens after the events of the movie when season 2 of Demon Slayer arrives. He just has a new one, short trailer preview of what is called The Entertainment District Arc:

We have a free release date for Demon Slayer season 2 right now, which is some time in 2021. And if I say 2021, it probably means Late 2021. Demon Slayer season 1 initially debuted in the fall of 2019, so we could see a two-year gap between seasons. Needless to say, fans are thrilled to hear the news that they will arrive this year.

This new season seems to be a departure from season 1, which took place mostly in the wild and in wooded areas, with only a few stops in the big cities. Now this main arc can take place fully in a city according to its appearance.

We have a few pieces of characters in the trailer, but it’s hard to know what to make of them. Also, I haven’t seen the movie yet, because it doesn’t have a release here yet, so I’m not sure how the story ended and if it can be directly related to that. This woman definitely looks uh, not very friendly and quite demonic:

It’s hard to underestimate how massive Demon Slayer is, especially in Japan, as it broke the all-time ticket record by 6 billion yen, previously held for 19 years by Spirited Away, one of the most beloved animated films in Japan. history. Under this? Titanic and Frozen. So, yes, this is a big problem.

We don’t know much about Demon Slayer season 2 yet, but if the teasers start, more substantial previews will follow, so stay tuned for them.
