Scheduling begins hours earlier for the opening of Florida’s first Buc-ee travel center

SF. AUGUSTIN, Fla. – It is known for promoting the largest store in the world. Buc-ee’s National Travel Center opens its first location in Florida today.

The new location on the World Commerce Parkway in St. Augustine has 52,600 square meters and offers 104 feeding positions.

The chain bears a cult following. Dozens of people were in line outside the store before 5:15 a.m. Monday.

Shops are usually divided into the gift part, which contains items such as clothing, home decor, sporting goods and more – and the food service and convenience store part.

The doors open at 6 in the morning

Many people living in the area were worried about how the gas station would affect property values. More than 2,000 people have signed a petition opposing development in 2019, citing traffic problems and a poorer quality of life.
