Sax, the founder of the Damned District, died of covid-19

Sad day and mourning for the Mexican music scene. Eulalio Cervantes Galarza, better known as “Sax”, member of the group “Damn the neighborhood”, He died early Sunday because of covid-19.

The musician, who had been hospitalized for several days, he lost his life at the age of 52 due to complications from the virus. His wife, through the musician’s Instagram, was the one who launched the sad news.

Eulalio Cervantes was a founding member of the Damned neighborhood, grouping that saw the light inside 1985 and as the years went by, she became one of the bands the most important in the Mexican music scene, in the genres of rock, ska, reggae and punk.
