The young people were enjoying the beach when a sea current carried them away

The Piñones maritime unit reported the rescue of five young people on the 187 km 5.2 motorway, near the La Comay business, Piñones.
According to the information, the persons were identified as Bimael Rodríguez, aged 24, Andrew Rivera Rivera, aged 20, Yashira Calderón Martínez, aged 28, Natalia Rivera Rivera, aged 26, and Daniel Perez Calderón, 24 years old.
They enjoyed the beach in the place mentioned above and were moved by a sea current, being rescued by five agents assigned to the Maritime Unit, Piñones.
The injured were treated by paramedics on the spot and then transported to UPR Hospital, Carolina, in stable condition.
