The Saudi airline has allowed airlines to resume flights to transport foreigners from the kingdom, state television reported.
The decision excludes countries dealing with the new version of Covid-19, and flight crew members landing in the kingdom are not allowed to leave their planes, according to the report.
Saudi Arabia has also extended the suspension of international flights and international flights close crossing the border for another week due to concerns about the new coronavirus strain, the Saudi Arabian News Agency reported separately. Flights for foreigners wishing to leave the country and goods were excluded from travel, according to the report.
Saudi Arabia suspended all international flights a week ago, citing a lack of information about the new strain, SPA reported then. The move followed a UK decision to impose a blockade in London and south-east England to control the rapidly spreading strain of coronavirus at the time.
