“Saturday Night Live”, in its latest episode, took into account a couple of prominent politicians caught in scandals this week.
During a screenplay called “Oops, You Did It Again,” starring Chloe Fineman as host Britney Spears, the sketch comedy show parodied Sen. “And now I’m in a little hot water,” says Cruz of Aidy Bryant. “What I’m being told is something no one in Texas has.”
Bryan’s Cruz said at the time that he “deeply regrets” his trip to Mexico, “especially flying United.”
The parliamentarian then apologized, saying: “I’m pretty bad at human things.”
“He would have a coward [guts] to blame his actions on his little daughters? he asks.
Comedian Pete Davidson then joins the skit, portraying Cuomo.
“Some of the people who died in nursing homes were not considered deaths in nursing homes,” admits Davidson’s Cuomo. “It’s like what happens at Disney World. People die and move corpses. They say, ‘Oh, I think Brenda died in the parking lot and not in the teacups.’ ”
Bryant’s cross then leans in to be sympathetic, saying they’re both “misunderstood strong men.”
“Don’t associate with me,” Cuomo tells Cruz.
“We’re not the same. I’m a man, you’re a clown. And if you mess with me, I’ll send you to a clown hospital. And when you die, I won’t count your body,” he added.
