Samuel L Jackson gathers players in the new Verizon Superbowl announcement

Samuel L Jackson had a career that many Hollywood actors could only dream of, playing the role of Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and countless other roles over the years of acting, and now he has taken on a role in who threw many for a loop while playing himself rallying players in a Verizon ad aired during the Super Bowl! With Verizon creating an ad specifically for gamers, Jackson is fully featured in CG, with the actor’s voice ringing everywhere to rally players for a big challenge!

When I last saw Samuel L Jackson in the MCU, he was aboard a spaceship during the post-credits scene. Spider-Man: Far From Home, apparently taking care of business away from Earth. With a Disney + series already previewed in Secret invasion who will play both Samuel L Jackson and Skrulls, who were first introduced to the film, Captain Marvel, it is clear that Nick Fury still has many adventures that appear to him as part of the world that brought the Avengers to the superstar. Needless to say, Jackson creates a good personality to convey a rally cry to the players.

The ad even ends with a reference to the movie, Deep Blue Sea, who saw Jackson’s character suddenly eaten by a shark!
