Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus is a competitor for the best true wireless headphones of 2020. When CNET’s David Carnoy reviewed these headphones, noted that the sound quality was significantly better than the original Buds, with solid wireless quality and better battery performance. They’re a little too expensive, but this weekend Woot is doing something about it. Right now you can capture a set of Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus for 85 USD, which represents a substantial reduction in the regular price of USD 200. “Until the end of the supply” is the operative term here, because I do not expect them to be in stock at this price for a long time.
These are not just Galaxy Buds Plus from the beginning, they are BTS special edition, which, in honor of the band K-pop (which I had heard about completely before I started writing this article) is adorned in bold metallic purple. K-pop or not, it looks pretty bright. You also receive the wireless charging case and, yes, photo cards of all the band members.
Woot estimates that you can get them before Christmas if you use transport for a day or two, so it’s not too late to get a great audio gift.
