Here’s what’s happening in the world of television for Sunday, January 17th. All times are Eastern.

Top choice

Batwoman (The CW, 8 p.m., season two premiere): Batwoman She’s back tonight, but Kate Kane isn’t. After the departure of the original series, the Ruby Rose lead (seems to be due long hours and friction and frustration results), CW and Batwoman the team decided not to remake the role of Kate. Instead, there is a new mantled crusade in the city. Meet Ryan Wilder (and Javicia Leslie, the actor raises the hood.)

Alani Vargas will enter Gotham for a premiere recap.

More from TV Club

Tiger (HBO, 9 p.m., final): “Granular black-and-white footage from Woods’ 2017 DUI arrest haunts Tiger, and if you are familiar only with the ease of his career, it is understandable if you assume while watching that this marks his tragic end. What unfolds throughout the documentary makes Woods’ return from 2018, when he won the PGA Tour after a five-year drought, seem unlikely, almost fantastic, but Tiger Woods still has a few miracles left. Tiger it effectively reminds us why we found the legend of Tiger Woods so compelling, never losing sight of the complexity of his humanity. ” Read the rest of Stephen Robinson’s review.

Wild card

If this show is for you, it is very much For you. (It’s a lot for us.)

Inside Agatha Christie’s mind (PBS, 10 p.m.): And while you’re in a lady-n-crime mood, PBS also has an hour on the inner workings of one of the greats.
