Mexico City- The Monarch Emporium and the Carranza family collapse on the screen.
And Osvaldo Benavides, one of the protagonists of the Netflix series produced by Salma Hayek, hinted at the possible cancellation of the project.
“In the absence of news … I say goodbye to #AndresCarranza. What a nice project. Thank you for all @monarcalaserie and for all those who were there. How proud I was to participate. Goodbye. #Tbt #monarca”, wrote Benavides.
The story follows the Carranza family, an important Mexican family that owns a famous tequila company, after the patriarch’s death and how he has to deal with power, lies, intrigue, corruption and murder in Mexico.
The series, which this year had the premiere of the second season, also has stellar shows by Irene Azuela and Juan Manuel Bernal, who commented on the post that Benavides made on Instagram.
“I luv u (I love you). Brother,” published Azuela, performer at Ana María.
“What a pride you have made with all that wonderful team! No one can take that away from me! And the enormous satisfaction of giving the spectator a first world product, as we believe all Latin America deserves! I love you Bro! Carranza! I hug you! “Said Bernal, who plays Joaquín.
Fernando Rovzar, producer and director of the series, had unofficially ensured the continuation of the show.
It is a Hayek production, through his company Ventanarosa and Lemon Studios.
So far, neither the directors, nor Hayek, nor Netflix have confirmed a third season or the end of the series.
