Sacha Baron Cohen’s interview with Jimmy Kimmel on Thursday was quite pleasant.
The “Borat” star mocked her rock star Bono, actor Tom Cruise, rapper Kanye West and Donald Trump Jr., in a bit of parody that saw him caught selling COVID-19 vaccines live.
Baron Cohen’s wife, Isla Fisher, made a wild cameo.
The segment ended with a police raid, a car chase and an accident – all while Baron Cohen repeatedly condemned “those who use power to move forward”.
Earlier in the interview, Baron Cohen revealed Kimmel’s involuntary role in resurrecting his Kazakh journalist character for “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm”, which was released in October 2020.
Baron Cohen remembered how, after jumping back in the role of a video on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” before the middle of the 2018 period, he suddenly realized that it would not be impossible to play Borat again.
He asked the writer’s room for another film he was working on if there was a new film “Borat” “we could go out in time for the election” and “about 15 minutes later I had an idea, three days later I settled in a studio . ”
“Wow, it’s incredible,” Kimmel replied to the story.
“So, thank you, but you won’t get a discount,” Baron Cohen joked.
