Russian troops on the border with Ukraine can cause war, analyst

The arrival of 4,000 Russian troops on the border with Ukraine could spark a European war, according to a military expert in the region.

Reports say Pavel Felgenhauer’s warnings came when social media revealed suspicious Russian military build-up near rebel-occupied eastern Ukraine and the annexed region of Crimea.

“The crisis could escalate into a pan-European war, if not a world war,” said Felgenhauer, an independent Russian military analyst, in a recent interview with the Rosbalt news center in Russia. Will it happen or not? Let’s wait. In the West they don’t know what to do about it. “
