League of Legends fans who would like to enjoy the universe but don’t keep playing the same game over and over again until you die, you’re in luck. Riot has just announced a new MMO set in the game universe in the most casual way imaginable.

In this tweet exchange, Riot VP Greg Street begins by talking about how recent it is helped to “develop League the universe ”and how“ its new mission is to start a great game (some might say massive) that many of you and many Rioters have asked us to create ”.

That already says a lot, but Street clarifies, to be sure.

No trailer, no expensive cinematic video, no conceptual art, no press release, just a tweet with the smallest details imaginable.

This is a wild way to announce a game that could be huge, given its popularity League universe, but then it’s also very Riot, whose last round of game announcements there were basically a bunch of shrugs and an admission that, yes, they were working on some stuff.

This is normally the part where I tell you some of the finer details contained in a version of the game, but since we don’t have that here, I can only let you imagine League universe, just like wow, and get it from there.
