State-of-the-art exclusivity Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart launches on PS5 on June 11, Insomniac Games announced today on the PlayStation blog.
Announced in June last year, the action platform will be a spectaclepiece for the new PlayStation hardware, including levels where players jump perfectly between several worlds, something that would not have been possible on the PS4.
In addition, the game will be shows two graphical modes, one that plays the game in 4K at 30 fps and one that plays the game at 60 fps and a “lower resolution”. Unlike some of Sony’s other exclusives, including last year Spider-Man: Miles Morales and next year Horizon Forbidden West, Rift Apart will not come on PS4.
PS4 owners who want to fill themselves with anthropomorphized animals performing high-tech hijinks can always check out 2016 excellent remake of the first game in Ratchet and Clank series. This game is also available to paid PlayStation Plus subscribers on PS5 for free as part of The PS Plus collection of the new console.
