On Saturday, the 52-year-old talk show presenter announced her engagement to her boyfriend Ross Burningham, sharing the interesting news on Instagram.
“Friends, I’m so excited to share the good news! I’m engaged! “Exclaimed Lake.
“This is Ross. He is my person. He is wonderful, “she continued.
In a recent interview with people, Lake said that she and Burningham, who have been dating for over a year, “literally pinch us that we are in this moment in our lives.”
“Both of us, new nests, feel like we are children again. We are full of gratitude and joy for what is to come, “Lake told.
Lake was previously married to Rob Sussman, with whom she shares two sons, from 1994 to 2004. She was later married to Christian Evans from 2012 to 2015. Evans died by suicide in 2017 after a long battle with bipolar disorder.
Over the weekend, Lake told fans he was looking forward to the next chapter with Burningham.
“Our next chapter will definitely be a good one,” Lake added on Instagram, along with the hashtags “open heart,” “life is beautiful,” and “I believe in love.”
