Melissa Gorga opened up about her struggles in marriage in a new interview.
The Real Housewives star from New Jersey talked about how the couple went through a difficult phase of trying to grow together instead of separating, after they reunited at an early age.
Before the premiere of season 11, Melissa, 41, told Us Weekly: “This season, it’s very raw. It is very real. It’s very different this season for Joe and me.

“We did very well for 11 years. We are a great couple. We’re trying hard. We fight a lot for our family and it is not easy to be on reality TV for 11 years and stay strong.
Over the years, Melissa admits that they have both changed, but that 41-year-old Joe would prefer things to stay the same.
She explained: “She likes things to stay the same. I’ve been with him since I was 24 years old. So I have changed and I feel that this is a scary part of marriage. Either you grow up together or you detach. And I think we’re struggling a lot to grow together,
