Retailers Give Up My Pillow After Pre-CEO Trump’s Election Claims

Retailers, including Bed Bath & Beyond, Kohl’s and Wayfair, have stopped selling My Pillow products after Trump-backed CEO Mike Lindell made unfounded claims of electoral fraud in the 2020 presidential election.

News management: Lindell told NBC News on Tuesday that retailers called him to say they could face a “boycott” if they did not take action. But Bed Bath & Beyond and Kohl’s said the decision was linked to a lack of demand for My Pillow products.

  • Lindell insisted for Fox9 that the “leftists” on social networks are behind the movements, which he said also led to the elimination of HEB My Pillow products.

What are they saying: Axios contacted all retailers for comments. Bed Bath & Beyond told the New York Times in a statement: “We have streamlined our range to discontinue a number of low-performing items and brands.”

  • Kohl’s told USA Today in a statement: “Customer demand for MyPillow has dropped. We will sell our current inventory and not buy additional / future brand inventory.”

Note: The retailers’ action comes a day after Dominion Voting Systems sent Lindell a letter to end and stop spreading misinformation about the 2020 election.
