Battle Royale from Respawn Entertainment Apex Legends debuted on the Nintendo Switch last week and a week later, the developer released a new update for all versions of the game.
For the Switch version in particular, it addresses “several” bugs in the Switch, but does not go into detail about exactly what these fixes are. Lots of other bugs have also been apparently removed. Here are the full notes on the patches, thanks to the official Respawn Twitter account:
Apex Legends version 1.07 (March 15, 2021):
A new patch @playapex went live:
- Heat Shield audio error and a rare exploit have been fixed
- Heat shields removed from the craft pool
- Fixed a few bugs with Loba’s tactics
- Fixed issues with textures that were missing several event skins
- More switching fixes
Soldier, Legends
Ooh also: fixed the wrong sound from Bangalore heritage!
Hopefully, in some future updates, the Panic Button port specialist can also make an effort to address some of the performance issues. For more information on the Switch version, see our full review.
