Resignation of PLD Euclides Sánchez, former senator and president of the La Vega party

Santo Domingo, RD.

Euclides Sánchez, a member of the Central Committee of the Dominican Liberation Party, announced his resignation from that political group in the afternoon.

“It is with great regret that I finally made the firm and irrevocable decision to resign as a member of the central committee, as head of the Secretariat for Trade Union and Professional Affairs, as well as chairman of the PLD in La Gente province and as a full member. of that party. “Says the resignation notice.

Sánchez says that lately he has noticed how the PLD has deviated from the principles “that gave birth to it and that characterized it as a different political force, unique in America.”

“Lately, it has thrown these principles overboard, dominating an operating system devoid of institutionality, discipline and the application of a regime of consequences, violating its statutes, regulations and loss of perspective.”
