Capcom gives PS5 and PS4 players quick access to the Resident Evil Village demo, but these windows of opportunity are very short. Before the full demo falls just before the full release of the game, you will have 30 minutes to play some of the demo. Then, a week later, the other piece of the demo unlocks and you will have 30 minutes to play again. The village area is first up, then it’s the castle’s turn. These two areas will culminate in a final 60-minute demonstration in early May, but will contain the same content as the two half-length offers.

The first piece of the Resident Evil Village demonstration takes place in the village area. You will have 30 minutes to play in the following time intervals in the evening April 17, 2021 up to April 18, 2021.

- 8pm EDT on April 17, 2021 until 4am EDT on April 18, 2021
The second piece of the Resident Evil Village demonstration takes place in the castle area. You will have 30 minutes to play in the following time intervals in the evening April 24, 2021 up to April 25, 2021.

- 20:00 EDT on April 24, 2021 until 4am EDT on April 25, 2021
Finally, these two pieces of the Resident Evil Village demonstration come together to form a full 60-minute demonstration a week later. They will still have the same content, but can be played back. You will have access to May 1, 2021, and the demo will then be available until the game launches May 7, 2021.
