Release date and suggested games in New Rumor

A new rumor about Nintendo Switch Pro appeared online, a few days after the Nintendo Switch Pro controller apparently leaked. Unfortunately, the rumor does not flow with the most important information, but it suggests the release date of the console and provides information on how it could handle older games. Rumors of an updated and more powerful Nintendo Switch have been circulating for over a year, but recently rumors and reports have started to grow substantially, suggesting that we are approaching a revelation and a release.

The most recent is the path of one of the first sources to convey the word of the car or, more precisely, the path inside the NateDrake industry. According to Leaker, the console is scheduled to be announced this year and right now, the plan is to be launched this year as well, however, a delay until 2022 is definitely a possibility right now.

Unfortunately, the leaker does not provide other additional information about when the console will be launched, but it seems that it will be sometime during this holiday season, assuming it will not be postponed until next year.

In addition to the allusion to the release date, the leaker also claims that the new SoC of the console should give a boost to older games in the form of resolution and fps. However, it seems that there may be exceptions to this rule, depending on how the game is coded.

Finally, NateDrake commented on DLSS support for the Nintendo Switch Pro, noting that they only heard that this support will only include docked mode. However, the insider is not prepared to give up portable DLSS, citing a lack of confirmation in both directions.

Of course, however, as in every piece, it should be taken with a grain of salt. Not only is everything 100% unofficial, but it is also subject to change. All of this could be completely accurate today and then tomorrow it could all be outdated and incorrect information.

As you would expect, Nintendo did not comment on any of this unofficial information, nor did it directly comment on a single Nintendo Switch Pro rumor, report, or leak. That being said, if Nintendo breaks this pattern of silence “without comment”, we will be sure to update the story accordingly.
