Regina King’s dog that slept behind her was the best red carpet look of the globes

It seems that the brilliance of the Hollywood Award show fashion is less interesting for a dog than, say, a squirrel.

Case in point: Queen King’s chick, Cornbread, made some great appearances during her virtual interviews on the red carpet at the Golden Globes on Sunday night, when the rifle decided to collapse “NBC’s Golden Globes Pre-Show” and then passed to postpone through another Q&A with E! (above).

Many people on Twitter liked to watch the dog walking on a house pus suspicious dog bed for a nap while the director of “One Night in Miami” talked about his nominated film and amazed in a gorgeous Louis Vuitton dress.

King’s Golden Globe nomination for Best Director, along with Chloe Zhao’s “Nomadland” and Emerald Fennell’s “Promising Young Woman” was certainly important, as it was her first term in office. show in which more than one woman was nominated in the category – but Cornbread couldn’t give a damn

And, like most of us on Zoom’s calls during the pandemic, it was hard for King’s interviewers to ignore the very apparent indifference of her little love.

“I like the cornbread there. Your dog is like, “Listen, my mom looks amazing and I don’t care if it’s the premiere season, I’m relaxing,” Karamo Brown of the “Queer Eye” fame remarked happily during King’s interview with E!

“Your dog is trying to steal the show,” said co-host Susan Kelechi Watson, co-host of the NBC Golden Globes Pre-Show.

This is not the first time King has attracted attention in an unexpected way during the premiere season.

In September 2020, she appeared in first place when she wore a “Tell Her Name” T-shirt with a portrait of Breonna Taylor while accepting the award for Outstanding Leading Actress in a Limited Series or Film for her portrayal of “Watchmen.” from HBO.
