True to the story of a movie, the young woman from Monterrey Sonia de la Garza, 28, helped an American woman identified as Jane McDonald-Crone, who was missing for 27 years after being last seen in 1993 Texas

In an interview with ABC newsDe la Garza reported this to his friend last Thursday Abraham Gonzalez reported on a woman in a homeless situation who was outside a pharmacy at the intersection of Ruiz Cortines and Simón Bolívar avenues.

The next morning, the young woman prepared a backpack with food and personal hygiene items to help 62-year-old McDonald-Crone.

“I told her not to worry and she told me she was lost (…) I gave her biscuits and electrolytes, she showed me a rabbit and a rooster she brought,” said De la Garza about meeting the woman.

Later, her friend Lulú Brambila investigated the woman’s name and determined that she was one of the most wanted people by the FBI in Texas

Both young women contacted an FBI agent identified as Mario Aguilar, who, after receiving photos of the woman, confirmed that the characteristics coincided with the woman allegedly abducted 27 years ago.

Following the contact, the agent contacted the consulate in Monterrey to proceed with the McDonald-Crone search report last Friday, March 5.

Finally, yesterday Saturday, the woman found herself at the intersection of Tapia and Jiménez in the city’s first square.

Had contact with family

Sonia de la Garza confirmed that after finding Jane, the young woman contacted a niece and sister of McDonald-Crone, who are waiting for the Migration Institute to confirm the woman’s identity through DNA analysis.

Invite more actions of this type

The young woman hopes that is the case Jane McDonald-Crone be the first of many where people are thanks to social networks.

“Networks are essential to achieve good causes, the invitation is to always help without looking at who, we all have a story, you have to open your eyes.”
