Rebel Wilson says the dramatic weight loss over the past year hasn’t changed it, but it has changed others.
Specifically, the way other people treat her has changed, the actress explained on the Australian radio show “The Morning Crew With Hughesy, Ed and Erin”, according to the British Independent.
“I like to think that I looked good in all sizes and all things and I was always quite confident,” said the “Pitch Perfect” star. “So I wasn’t like I didn’t trust him and now I’m very confident.
“I think what was really interesting for me is the way other people treat you. Sometimes, being older, people didn’t necessarily look at you twice. ”
The 40-year-old added that having people “offers to bring my food to the car and keep the doors open” for her made her think, “Is this what other people have experienced all along?”
Wilson added that the attention drawn to the renewed image still discourages him, “when so many things happen in the world,” allowing “People are always fascinated by the transformations of weight loss.”
Wilson reached his 165-pound goal in November after embarking on a “year of health,” “Although it’s not about a number of weights, it’s about being healthy,” she said.
