The Phillies won two of their three games against rivals in their division after opening the season by sweeping Atlanta in three games, which has been crowned in the NL East for the past three years.
Philadelphia ace Aaron Nola worked only four innings. He’s gotten out of trouble in the last two.
In total, he allowed one run and six shots, in addition to eliminating five.
Connor Brogdon (3-0) scored five outs for his third win in six games. Three exemptions covered the last 3 1/3 innings.
Starter David Peterson (0-1) had six touchdowns and seven hits in four innings.
