Raúl Gudiño signed the contract extension with Chivas

The goalkeeper has signed a multi-year agreement with Chivas with which he will continue to defend the goal of the herd

The consistency that Raúl Gudiño has found in recent months with Guadalajara has been rewarded by the council. On Saturday, the rojiblanco goalkeeper extended his contract with the Guadalajara team, reaching a multi-annual agreement that includes a significant salary increase.

After the departure of Luis Fernando Tena and the arrival of Víctor Manuel Vucetich, Gudiño went from looking for options in other clubs to signing a major contract extension in less than a year. The 24-year-old goalkeeper shook hands with Ricardo Peláez and stamped his signature on the new documents on Saturday in Verde Valle.

In this way, chiverío seems to dispel rumors about the possibility of looking for another goalkeeper in the summer, when names like Rodolfo Cota were already starting to sound.

Raúl Gudiño, who at the end of this new agreement could earn, depending on performance and variables, up to three times the current salary, is Guadalajara’s bet for his short-term goal.

POSSIBLE CHANGES AT ONCE AGAINST PUMAS

As usual, Víctor Manuel Vucetich will not repeat the group this Sunday, when Chivas hosts Pumas. During the last tactical works, “King Midas” tried some changes on the right wing. Jesús Sánchez allegedly sacrificed his part, leaving that place to Isaac Brizuela, who is not aware of his position.

In turn, the site of the “Bunny” as a right midfielder will have a new owner in Uriel Antuna, who started as a substitute against Pachuca. In this way, the band would consist of Raúl Gudiño, Isaac Brizuela, Hiram Mier, Antonio Briseño, Alejandro Mayorga, Jesús Molina, Eduardo Torres, Uriel Antuna, Jesús Angulo, Alexis Vega and José Juan Macías.
