Have you ever wondered what it would be like to play a giant Nintendo Switch? Well, so did Michael “The Casual Engineer” Pick, so he decided to build a fully functional one.
All buttons work and are powered even by a full-size switch and Joy-Con – which can be easily replaced if needed. Next to it is a 4K display.
In the video above, Michael goes into detail about exactly how he did all this. The 3D buttons on it have been printed, for example. Overall, this gigantic switch is 30 “x 70”, weighs 29.48 KG (65 LBS) and is apparently 650% larger than the standard unit.
Everything is for a good cause – Michael donated it to the Saint Jude Children’s Hospital. Good work, Michael. Now who is ready for a round of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on this?
