According to eagle-eyed DK enthusiast and Twitter user BlueCatBanjo73, Nintendo updated Mario Party DS render (which also appeared in Mario Kart Tour) of Diddy Kong and, as you can see in the photos below, now has life-like fur on his arms, legs, tail and face.
So what’s the reason for this update? While no one seems to really know, some theories connect him to a new Mario Party game, while others hope it’s a sign that the Donkey Kong series is finally back.
Of course, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Diddy Kong in fur – he’s played in many games like Super Smash Bros. last who flaunted their wonderful clothes. What do you think about this updated rendition of Diddy Kong? Tell us in the comments.
