Super Nintendo World’s the opening may have been delayed recently, but – when the pandemic ends – we will be happy to see it in person. Of course, fans poured in the details provided and one made a more unusual discovery: the theme park cactus design is little bit torn off.

Using Twiitter, user @ chifteluță132 pointed out that the cactus model used is from Newer Wii for Super Mario Bros., a way made by fans since 2013. Designed to review New Super Mario Bros. Wii with new levels, bosses, updated graphics and much more, it appears specifically in the “Ruins of the rubble” in World 2.

As to why this happened, Meatball132 believes that this was probably due to an error in Google search results, which show images from New Super Mario Bros. Wii if you are looking for “New Super Mario Bros. Wii Cactus ”. It’s not the first time the team behind Super Nintendo World has gone wrong here, given that last month a Mario play was made by fans on the official website.

The error comes amid legal tensions between fans and Nintendo, which have shut down numerous fan projects in recent years. Recent examples include an unofficial Mario Kart service and a Zelda game made by fans. Probably considering this, Meatball132 has clarified it was “just an interesting thing I noticed” and asks people not to receive also upset anyone.
