Random: GUH-HUH! Some people are fascinated by the name Microsoft on Banjo-Kazooie amiibo

As you probably already know, yesterday marked the launch of three new amiibo for Super Smash Bros. last. Perhaps the highlight was Rare’s legendary double bear and bird Banjo-Kazooie series.

Lots of super fans are now posting pictures of this figurine on social media and, well, some individuals seem to be more interested in its basis. Whatever the reason, they are impressed by Microsoft’s copyright – noting how “interesting” it is to see the name of the American technology giant on a Nintendo product.

Now, Smash players are wondering what Steve’s base might look like. As the Twitter user explained TheKrazyStew, Mojang is featured in the game’s character credits, while Banjo’s has just been labeled Microsoft. So get ready for similar reactions on social media whenever Minecraft amiibo drops.

If you are wondering, other recently released amiibo, Terry Bogard – from Fatal Fury and The king of fighters series – is based on SNK Corporation.

Can you believe that a character owned by Microsoft is now an amiibo? Were you not at all surprised by the bottom of amiibo Banjo & Kazooie? Did you really untie yours? Leave a comment below.
