The Los Angeles Rams shocked the NFL world by making the first off-season blockbuster deal on Saturday – but not before trying to make an even bigger hit.
Before the Rams landed Matthew Stafford, the team ran to Aaron Rodgers, according to the Los Angeles Times. It wasn’t until the Packers informed the team that Rodgers was unavailable that they reached an agreement to land the other NFC North defender.
It has been speculated that the Packers could switch from Rodgers in the offseason after working with quarterback Jordan Love in the first round of the 2020 draft.
