Races in the 2020 NFL Playoffs, standings: Steelers rank third in AFC after loss, Browns alive in AFC North

There are three weeks left in the regular season of the NFL 2020 and a lot of playoff berths are ready. Buffalo Bills won their first AFC East title in 25 years on Saturday, ending the third longest drought in the active division league. The Miami Dolphins held on to the final spot of the AFC playoffs on Sunday, defeating the New England Patriots and remaining number 7 in the conference. The Patriots’ loss to the Dolphins means New England will lose the postseason for the first time since 2008 and lost a season for the first time since 2000.

The Steelers’ stunning loss to the Bengals in “Monday Night Football” opened the door for the Cleveland Browns in AFC North and also helped Bills move up to 2nd in the AFC.

In the NFC, the Seattle Seahawks won a playoff spot and took the lead in the NFC West, with the Los Angeles Rams losing to the Jets (!). The Arizona Cardinals kept their place in the playoffs with a thrilling victory over the Eagles.

Below you can find a breakdown by category of the current standings, how each club evolved in Week 15 and what they still have in the program.
