R. Kelly allegedly received both shots of a COVID-19 vaccine while being held in a blockade in Illinois for serious sex offenses against children.
Singer “I Believe I Can Fly” – who has repeatedly tried to be released from custody because of the dangers of the pandemic – is one of more than 60 detainees at the Chicago Metropolitan Correctional Center to be completely inoculated, according to TMZ .
The 47-year-old man received the first blow in January and the second this month, the press said. It was not clear what vaccine he received.
The singer – real name Robert Kelly – is awaiting trial in Illinois and New York on charges of sexual abuse of underage girls, production of child pornography and destruction of evidence.
